I'm a novelist and screenwriter with a chequered past. I've written for footballing and motoring magazines, childbirth videos and mail order catalogues, despite knowing very little about any of those subjects. I've DJ'ed at illegal raves in London, been told off by a children's TV presenter during a TV studio debate, and I was the Australasian face of a series of TV commercials for a cleaning product. All of which has given me a thorough grounding in the ridiculous, and has helped me write funny stuff.
My debut novel 'Dead in Venice' was published by Audible as one of their Crime Grant Finalists, and my political romcom 'Parliamentary Affairs' was recently optioned. I was a finalist in the Athena IRIS Screenwriting Lab and have been shortlisted for the BBC Writersroom.
I'm represented by the lovely Lina at the Kate Nash Literary Agency.
