SCRIPT EDITING AND PROOF READING

MAKE YOUR WORK THE BEST IT CAN BE!

So you've typed FADE OUT. The bad guys are behind bars, the monsters have been slain and the star-crossed lovers are re-united. What happens next?

Well, before you send your masterpiece out into the world, you need someone to read it. Yes, you could ask your mum, but she loves you and she'll only say nice things about it. Producers and contest judges, however, will read it through different eyes.

Which is where a script editor comes in.

SCRIPT EDITING AND PROOF READING

WHY USE A SCRIPT EDITOR?

Every writer needs constructive criticism. A safe and trusted pair of eyes who won't pamper our ego or tear it to shreds, but will help us hone and polish our project until it's the bright shiny blob of awesomeness we dreamt it would be when we started on this crazy journey. Sometimes we're so in love with our own work we can't imagine that anyone would think any different; other times, there's a niggling doubt that something isn't working. Either way, that extra pair of eyes will find what works, what doesn't, and help you find a way to make your script the best it can be.

But don't take my word for it...

TESTIMONIAL

A Happy Customer Speaks!

Fiona's notes on my scripts invariably found me nodding and wondering at the same time, how could I not see that? The answer, of course, was always the same. Every writer, at whatever stage we are, needs a reader who understands the craft, structure, genre, but also is sympathetic to the writer.
Each time Fiona's insight led to (hopefully) a better script, and a few things I learned along the way and used in the next project.
Her eagle eye also spotted those last few  pesky typos.
Will I work with Fiona again? Absolutely.
Will I submit anything without engaging her help first? Perish the thought.
